Today is a chilly Fall day in New England, right Rhode Island? Is it time for the hot chocolate, hoodies and spending time watching the beautiful foliage unfold and leaves fall?

We had another exciting

We celebrate our 10th Year … Spring 2025 SAVE THE DATE; 4/16/2025!This past summer we rolled out our economic development projects starting with one of the reasons we spearheaded the Juneteenth Paid State Holiday campaign in 2022-2023. We produced the First “Taste of Juneteenth New England” on the Juneteenth holiday. We had over 1000 patrons attend and more than 25 vendors + Speakers & Food Demo!(Check out the 3 min video recap)
Later in the summer we hosted the 2nd season of BLKMKTflea and we were invited to produce and host part of season 3 (Summer 2025) in Newport (Planning in progress)! We are excited other’s are recognizing our work!
Then we kicked off in August our 4th RI Black Philanthropy Month with a cohort of black-Led orgs we highlighted and we introduced the MSVL Sunset Free Concert Series on the Michael S Van Leesten Memorial Bridge that was a major success! We are working on 2025 as we speak!
