401Gives Thanks You! YESpvd! Scholars Fund x Winner's Circle XR! OutSpoken! & More!

Greets everyone!

First we would like to say thank you to those who supported our FIRST 401Gives Campaign on April 1st. We raised just over $1000 and your funds are being to put to work immediately with our Youth Empowerment Society (YESpvd!) Scholars Fund.

Check it out! We will be providing scholarships to (5) participates for NEXT WEEK’s Spring Break Winner’s Circle XR Academy program. (See below)

This spring we are launching a new program! If your child(ren) loves video games, this program is for them. 

Winners' Circle XR Academy, Inc. is providing a social emotional learning program supporting students with Communication (Empathy and Friendliness), Teamwork (relationship skills), Problem Solving (critical thinking, creativity, and responsible decision making), and Leadership (self-awareness, self-management, and social awareness) development through recreational competitive gaming with Virtual Reality headsets.

Join Senator Tiara Mack, Senator Cynthia Mendes, and Representative Briana Henries for a joyful celebration of natural hair in the Rhode Island State House. This is the year to pass the Crown Act in Rhode Island.

The CROWN Act was created in 2019 by Dove and the CROWN Coalition, in partnership with then State Senator Holly J. Mitchell of California, to ensure protection against discrimination based on race-based hairstyles by extending statutory protection to hair texture and protective styles such as braids, locs, twists, and knots in the workplace and public schools.
